So, Survivor has brought another new element into the game: Edge of Extinction. With this, no player is technically gone from the game unless they quit, like Keith and Wendy did. So the people that didn’t leave are still in the game, sounds normal right? At least it did until the people at EOE came waking in at tribal as the jury. Say what now?
This, in our humble opinion, was a very poor decision by production. Not only are the people still in the game WHILE on the jury, but it could drastically affect the winner of the game and here is why. Many of the people here are VERY early boots, so they couldn’t ever begin to realize the full gameplay and strategies of the players. Plus, the people first voted out only know half of the cast, and basically hates them. So this puts us in a really weird spot. But, I know one thing for sure: REEM SHOULD NOT BE ON THIS JURY. It’s just so wrong that the first person voted off is on the jury, it makes no sense. Unless of course, Reem makes it back into the game and then is voted out.
Furthermore, who will be added to the jury later on? If you quit are you banned from the jury or do you go on it now? It’s all very confusing, and honestly, the players shouldn’t have to worry about the effects of whom they voted out the first day, or week even. It’s long in the past and just doesn’t suit the way Survivor is played.
Thank you.
